Andalusia

The southernmost region in Spain and Europe and the cradle of Trajan, a Roman emperor born in Itálica (Sevilla), Andalusia (Andalucía in Spanish) is not only the entrance door to the African continent but also a land full of vestiges of past cultures. Its name derives from Al-Andalus, since the territory was under Arabian domination for more than eight centuries. In fact, Phoenician, Visigothic, Roman and Arabian vestiges are still present in everyday life, from gastronomy and architecture to language and culture. This mixture explains Andalusia’s modern culture and its appeal to people from all over the world who come to this region attracted by its climate, its food, its ladscapes and, above all, its people.

This is Andalusia, a land blessed with the sun, the sea and the mountains!
