You will discover royal canyons, roads through natural environments, pinewoods, holm oak, you will cross streams, wide plains, you will ascend and descend incredible paths, until you arrive to an emblematic city. Parting from Algodonales, after traveling 100 kms on a mountain bike, you will arrive to your destination: Isbiliya (Sevilla), the city of the Giralda, the Alcázar and the boat bridge in the Almohade period.
Nearly always you will be alone or with your group, but it’s not unusual to find pilgrims walking the route.
We will provide support vehicle, guide, informatic support map, on paper, record your experience and, best of all, you can enjoy a few hour in Sevilla, touring on your bike as you prefer, on bike lane through the historical Center. Go for tapas, a wine or a beer in the Barrio de Santa Cruz, rest at the foot of the Giralda, take a walk on Calle Betis.
We will pick you up at the place and the established time and we will take you back to Algodonales.

ENJOY YOUR VACATION!

Day 1: Fly to Málaga, Seville or Jerez airport. Transfer to and guided tour of Algodonales. Flight to Málaga, Seville or Jerez Airports. Transfer service to Algodonales and guided tour through the village.

 

Day 2: Beginning of the Camino de Santiago (Road to Santiago) through the Lijar mountains until reaching Montellano. Time to enjoy the village of Montellano, its monuments, its cuisine. Way back to Algodonales

This route will lead us to the heart of the Lijar mountains. Uphill and downhill real moutainbiking through forests of oak trees, holm trees, cork oaks. Today you will be in love again with the White Villages and the mountain landscape.

 

Day 3: After a good breakfast, transfer service to Montellano. From there to Los Molares. Night in a superb country house.

Sharp contrast with the previous day in a mainly flat landscape: broad horizons, wheat and barly fields, the Lijar and Grazalema mountains at the background, old castles (Cote, Las Aguzaderas), country houses (Cortijo de Coria), churches (El Coronil)…

 

Day 4: Breakfast in a bar quite popular among cyclists. Transfer service to Seville, where we will enjoy a day full of world-famous monuments and excellent cuisine. Trip back to Algodonales in the evening.

The route to Seville is maily flat but not boring at all: we will visit an old country house and lots of wild rabbits will accompany us while going through a beautiful pinewood.

The best moment of the day: the view of Seville from Dos Hermanas while going down a beautiful path. You’ll never forget the view of the Giralda tower in the horizon…

 

Day 5: A rest day gives you the chance to discover the historic old town of Ronda which is famous for it’s Tajo, the Bullring, the Arabic baths, city walls.

Day 6: A 15 km climb to the top of El Mogote, a mountain from which on a clear day you can enjoy the view of the Grazalema Natural Park and even watch Seville far in the distance. El Mogote is a world-famous place for paragliding and hang gliding. On the way back from the top of the mountain, you can choose two itineraries depending on your cycling skills. Once back in Algodonales, we will enjoy some tasty tapas!

 

Day 7: El Bosque, a tiny white village famous for its trouts and tapas and a wonderful route along the Majaceite river.

 

Day 8: Time to pack before we pick you up for your flight back home.
